Chartered Tax Adviser

Born in Belarus, in 2003 Alena obtained a BA Hons in Economics, Finance and Enterprise at the State Technical University of Pavel Sukhoi in Gomel before working as a tax accountant specialist at the largest Production and Trade Concern (which combines about 50 enterprises of different forms of ownership) in Belarus. She moved to Ireland in 2006 where she qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser and became a Member of the Irish Tax Institute.

Before joining Carey Associates, Alena has previously worked within leading tax & accountancy Irish practices and multinational tax departments, where she gained deep expertise in identifying tax solutions for a broad range of clients, including multinational and Irish family-owned businesses. She advises on availing of tax reliefs and incentives, along with compliance, structuring and tax-efficient succession planning. She has significant experience dealing with Irish Revenue and HMRC on behalf of the clients.
